I HATE moving! It is nice to be in a new place, but to have to pack up everything and then unpack it is just a pain! I moved to a new apartment in March. I love living with my roommate and love my apartment, but it was horrible to take down all of the decorations in my other apartment. I had decorated it just how I wanted it and was so sad to take everything down. Moving is a lot of work. I am definitely a packrat which makes packing far more difficult. I would love to have a HUGE library in my future house someday. I love to read and love the books I have. If I can get a great deal on a book, I never turn it down! I agree with you! I HATE moving! I am not sure why or what type of divine intervention that happens on their part. My husband is terribly lucky. If something comes down to chance or luck, I make sure that he is the one doing it and not me. I am like you, the person who gets hit in intersections by someone who runs a red light, but no one stops to witness it so the person gets away with it. Things never work out for me easily. I don't think this is due to bad luck, I think it is just typical. So, to sum up, I believe you either have good luck, or you just don't. There is no bad luck, just life.
